Yes, this is unrelated to my site design...but it is much more important. Since this was a short post, I've liberated it in it's entirety with permission of the author.

Civility Declared Dead

In a startlingly chilling episode best explained by David Neiwert's excellent series: Rush, Newspeak and Fascism: An exegesis, self-styled "anti-idiotarian" Emperor Misha I...the pseudonym for an anonymous blogger of the fascist bent..has put out nothing short of a cyber bounty of sorts against Eric A. Blumrich, replete with a map, and a "signed coffee mug" for a reward should one of his(?) minions find Mr. Blumrich's head on a pike. I'll not link to Auntie Idiot Aryan's site because he(?) doesn't need further rewards for his(?) misdeeds.

Here's a link to another's thoughts about the matter. Yeah, I know, it's an About.com agnosticism/atheism site, but of the four sites that I found that had commentary about this repugnant issue, it has the best synopsis.

I urge any and all readers to bookmark and read Neiwert's excellent Fascism series. It's in layman's term yet borrows much from scholarly texts.

I'm about to launch two new sites. Since I have yet to secure domain names, I am going to have to keep their names under wraps at present. I've got some new CSS/DHTML/XML things happening, and it all works with a processor as slow as a p2 233Mhz, w/crappy integrated video. It's my slowest test machine. Sue me for not maintaining a p1 :)

Anyhow, the two sites are all coded and I have alternate style sheets (mainly color) done for both, so with any luck at all, I'll have them up by ummm, the 15th. Yes, monday.
